The Heat's On

The summer heat has arrived in Southern Oregon. After a long, cool, rainy spring it's finally off the waiting list, so I decided to get a fix on my heat-quenching go-to's before they're absolutely needed. Last month's article on the best smoothies got me thinking about what my fave iced concoction would be as summer wore on. On a recent visit to the Ashland, Oregon Farmer's Market, my answer was delivered as my eye caught a big blue banner strung at the back of a stall....I sidled over, peered into the display case, and Eureka! There before me was Artik Creamery organic ice cream. It was the coolest, smoothest lookin' nirvana my eyes would behold that day. So, I pulled out my trusty camera to record a short vid introducing the genius behind this heaven in a cup!
