Over the past years, as local farmers markets, stores and other local food sources have popped up across the country, the need for local connecting entities has risen as well - something to help farmers markets, shops, restaurants, and, of course, eaters, connect and enjoy the bounty of each others' labor. Rhode Island seems to be onto just such a thing. We came across this article (below) from Serious Eats dealing with that exact issue...
