After only three weeks of being open for business, Grill My Cheeze, a new pop-up in the parking lot of Picker’s Paradise on South Pacific Highway in Phoenix, has already garnered an impressive following. It’s no wonder why, after biting down on one of these toasty, gourmet sandwiches, you’re sure to return, too!
The bright red trailer and canopy catches your eye as you drive down the Pacific Highway. Owner Scott Stanley converted an old boat trailer into this gourmet mobile food station, added a grill, a sink, a couple fridges, and voila!, the retired firefighter’s dream and passion for feeding people came to life.
The menu changes daily, usually featuring just two sandwiches to keep you surprised. The rotation includes delicious and popular favorites such as a Southwest Chicken Club with grilled onions, Turkey Pastrami, Albacore with roasted red peppers, Meatball Sub, the Grilled Holy Cow Dog, and a classic favorite of many—Pulled Pork.
Cruise into the parking lot at 3404 South Pacific Highway where Grill My Cheeze is stationed and grab one of these amazing sandwiches soon!
