Pizza Dough
Recipe created using products from The Whole Grape
Ingredients
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup The Whole Grape Grape Flour
3 cups white or whole-wheat flour
1 pkg (.25 ounces) active dry yeast
2 tablespoon brown sugar
Pinch of salt
Directions
Combine water, sugar, and yeast in large bowl until mixture becomes frothy (that’s how you know the yeast is activated). Add flours and salt. Mix together until doughy. Form dough into ball and cover with towel. Let rise at room temperature for 20 minutes. Spread out onto large lightly oiled pizza or sheet pan and add desired toppings. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Note: If you prefer your crust to be gluten-free, you can sub another altenative flour (almond, rice, tapioca, etc.) for the white/whole wheat portions. Using grape flour for the whole recipe will produce a different consistency.
