Is there anything more refreshing on a hot summer’s day than cracking open an ice cold beer? Seasonal summer brews are all the rage with Oregon microbreweries. Most tend to be lighter-bodied beers that are available for only a limited time; some are lower in alcohol or have a hint of citrus flavor; all are revered for their mighty thirst-quenching powers. Since we’re heading into the long Labor Day weekend, be sure to swing by the grocery store and stock up on some of Oregon’s finest seasonal summer beers. Chances are, when they’re gone, you’ll be waiting until next summer to taste that cool, crisp elixir again.
